At night, Toledo transforms and its streets and alleys are filled with shadows, mysteries and echos from the past. This is the best time to stroll through the barrio of the “corbertizos” — medieval, suspended passageways that connected buildings. The area is surrounded by old cloistered convents, allowing you to give in and be enchanted by beautiful legends that captivated writers like Bécquer, Zorrila, Andersen, Poe… We love this city and think, contrary to popular belief, a truly authentic Toledana night is wonderful.
